As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The front: my English name, city, Boxing club name, and sponsor's name.
There's actually more to the top here, a pretty thin gold ribbon that is weaved in and out of the loops on the top but I took it off. The thought of some girl's gloves or whatnot getting caught in it during a fight sounds like a recipe for disaster.

The back: my Korean name, and my sponsor's name written write on my butt... how appropriate for this particular sponsor, too... hahaha.
[Note: the pictures don't do it justice!]

I was hoping you'd model them for us. Take a pic of you in them.

Is Mi Nam guarding them or giving you the 'oh not another fight' look? I can't really tell.

Hi Amy,
I agree with not wanting an advertisment on your uniform especially if you didn't want that. You should take it off. Tell your man congratulations oh his fight. A knockout huh? Great!
I am rooting for you of course also. Do a job on your opponent.
:)

I should had modelled them, sorry. Next time, okay?

Yo Casey,
I'm hoping he's guarding them as supposed to dreading me having another fight... hahaha.

Hey Beth,
I can't take it off, I'd have to get a new uniform ordered. I ended up getting it all settled though and so that's quite the relief.
I'll be sure to relay youur congrats to Snickers, for sure. Ya, it was a knock-out in the second round. I'm aiming to knock-out my opponent in the third round.
