As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Thursday, June 3

It was a blood bath at boxing today.

Snickers and an amateur boxer sparred today. I was standing ringside when in the second round Snickers’ opponent’s nose started gushing blood.

Together with three of the high school kiddies it took us a good ten minutes to clean up all the blood splattered along the boxing ring, their sparing gloves and headgear pieces, and the boxing club floor.

Snickers and I have been busy these past couple of days giving Ggum Guum a massive spring clean.

Tonight we attacked the clothes closets. I’m such a clothes horse and always seem to find some kind of strange and deranged reason as to why to keep things. Leave it to me to through out stuff I have never worn and that still have the price tag on!!!

QUESTION OF THE DAY…
What kind of house animal are you -- clothes horse, pack rat?

QUOTE OF THE DAY…
A good home must be made, not bought.
-- Joyce Maynard
