As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Possible Potentials... Tuesday, February 7

Picking out another dog is so hard. It was hard enough to see all their faces at the Asan Animal Shelter on Sunday, looking up at me as if to say "Am I good enough for you to love me?" But sitting at the computer and seeing them look at me in full size pictures... I don't really have the heart to scroll through the pages and do the whole yes, no,.. maybe. Picking which ones would fit our little family of three here at Ggum Guum is hard.

I adopted Mi Nam from a man who ran a pet store downtown Cheonan. He breed his dog upon request. Mi Nam was originally spooken for but then the potential buyer backed down because Mi Nam was quite the odd ball among his siblings. As for Pyen Chi, she was bought from a breeder after Snickers was asked which kind of dog he'd love to have. Pyen Chi was a $3000 wedding gift.

We now friends with a breader out in Chunju who breeds a massive Russian dog. I posted pictures of his dog farm once but am definitely not interested in his dogs. His Russian dogs make Pyen Chi look like a Chihuahau in comparison! They're freakishly big and they drool... ya, no thanks.

We don't plan on making an addition to our family anytime soon on account of many things. We want to change houses first, we've got a friend from Canada visiting us at the end of February, and I've got a couple of work things coming up soon, one of which is a potential home shopping channel gig with Adidas... how cool is that?! Perhaps by the time we do want to adopt a dog that is just right for our family will be available. I definitely don't wish any more dogs to join the shelter but I certainly don't want our possible potential four-legged friends we're considering to wait around for us. By all means, please find homes for these little guys. Everyone needs a Mi Nam and a Pyen Chi in their life!!!
