As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Deciding to Decide... Wednesday, May 2

It's been decided -- tickets have been bought and bags have been packed.

Snickers is going down to the Philippines on Sunday for 9 days.  He's going to search out the potential of this business proposal we've been offered and if he comes back with good news we will be leaving Korea.  I'll probably stay back here to tie up the loose ends -- work contract, paperwork needed for our 2 four-legged friends, getting Ggum Guum packed up, wiring all our funds to another account, and the list continues.  Snickers will go ahead of me, get the business up and running in the Philippines and then prepare things for when I make my way.  I'm curious as to what kind of house he'll pick out for us but am looking forward to basically living out my days in a bikini and training clothes!!!

I'm hoping we settle in Bohol, Philippines -- I love, love, LOVE Bohol!!!

We could visit Dao Diamond hotel, where we stayed when Snickers had a fight in the Philippines, and we could go training at the outdoor boxing club we visited.  It'd be pretty cool to get to test out Ala Boxing Gym too; that'd be very awesome!!!

I'm optimistic about this potential adventure and I'm up to the challenge but what happens if it's all talk and we end up not going?!  All this talk is getting me super hyped up and excited.

such an exciting prospect!!!! I really hope it works out since you two are obviously so stoked about it. ^_^

I love how outgoing & friendly people are in the Philippines. (Koreans tend to lack the 'outgoing' part.) The weather will also beat Korean's 4 season. :)
