Then it was off to meet our supplier for our custom made equipment.
This is his shop. It definitely is overly crowded and ultra messy but it's a fitness-fanatic's heaven!!!
This is our supplier -- a talented entrepreneur who had an idea and went with; an idea that is bringing our boxing club dream to a level we never ever imagined or even thought possible.
He always seems to send me home with something. Last week it was a replacement part for a friend's stationary bike and today it was a pair of 4kg kettle bells for me. Thanks!!!
Our list of meetings to attend to also included a building management meeting that took place in a posh penthouse office with it's own rooftop garden area over looking the city.
We posed outside for an official picture, the Leechard Hair head office lawyer and me.
I was all smiley because of having signed the official building contract and she noted she was all smiley because she didn't think boxers could be pretty. "Good health insurance", I told her, "they take care of my broken noses quite nicely".
Today started off with us holding our breath, hoping that today's much anticipated plan of events wouldn't be too good to be true. In the elevator, on our way down from our business meeting, I'm sure we tested the suspension of it with all our overly hyper jumping-with-excitement!!!
I'm a firm believer in the idea that everything comes down to timing -- there is a time for everything. In our anticipation and eagerness to start our boxing club, we had ignored this idea and tried to push things.
Our time is now.
Everything is now fitting together as it should.
