As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

How my morning started... a morning packed with sports, which meant it was also packed with heckling, cheering, and good times.
Yesterday I had watched the intense weigh-in for today's much anticipated fight, GSP vs. Diaz.
Today I watched the fight with the guys.  It was pretty much a one-sided fight hence why Pyen Chi fell asleep during it.
And this is how my evening was spent, quite opposite of how my morning was.
I went from sporting bed head, no make-up and comfy clothes to hair sprayed curly hair, lots of make-up, and clothes that left no room to really move in.
This very picture-- my self pic taken in the restaurant bathroom-- ended up being the controversially discussed pic among my Korean friends, long after the party had ended.
I justified going all glam style with the fact that it was the Flipside Fitness Glam Girls Night Out -- A White Day Celebration.  A grand total of 18 of Cheonan's finest females got all dolled up for tonight's event.  And I will say this, they may be fierce at boxercise but woozers, look out, these ladies looked dangerously fierce, borderline illegally fierce, in their dresses and heels!!!
A big thanks to La Cubo Restaurant and my beautiful date, for really making this event quite special for the ladies!
