As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

It was a slow, lazy start to the day.  I went to bed around 4am, then woke up 10am for a morning business meeting with Snickers.  It was just the two of us, which meant we laid on the couch bouncing ideas around and picking each other's brain.  It also meant I tried to juggle the two sleeping beauties, one of which (Pac) isn't exactly small and easy to handle anymore.  Holding him up was a workout in itself!
Almost everyday we have private boxing lessons with one of our sponsors so today Snickers headed off to to train while I stayed back and got back to the boring task of bookkeeping software program surfing.  Upon returning, we all took a nap on the couch and then resumed work.

In the early afternoon, I received this email in response to the article I had written for 10 Magazine.
Featured article AND featured on the cover?!  I'm more than happy to add that to my Mt.Everest list of things to do because it'd be such wicked publicity!!!
