As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

With tomorrow's Pretty in Pink -- A Welcoming Party, today I finally was able to get out and pick up decorations for it.  I spent the early afternoon with one of my Flipside gals, downtown shopping, and then I headed off with Snickers to a massive three floor party supply shop.
We only headed there for balloons but ended up having way too much fun trying on masks, playing with the noise makers, sporting random costumes, and playing in the aisles.
Snickers thought he'd score a kiss from me when he put on a Batman mask.  "Sorry Batman, I like my men half naked and in boxing shorts, not in spandex", I told him.  The Korean Hulk is so much cooler than the Batman so I rather kiss Snickers thanks.
Snickers is all about destiny so when he saw this he started yelling it out.  The Hulk hands right beside a pair of boxing gloves, could it be anymore written in the clouds, our destiny?!  Hahaha... I love it.
After excessive shopping, we then had to get everything ready.  I made my list of things to do (yellow pad on the couch) and even got Snickers in on the action.  He did some minor house renovations and was sweet enough to blow up all 18 balloons for me and help me with the hanging decorations.  What a great hubby!!!
Even Balboa got in on helping me.  Here he is posing with the party favor I made for the ladies.  Balboa stood guard over them, making sure Baby Pac didn't play with them.
