As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For $600 you too can have your door hinges fixed by him.... ouch, a tear.
So much for fixing our front doors though, I argue that we should have spent that money getting them glued shut.  Regardless of if they're closed or not, we continually get "stray people"  walking in to watch us work.  I almost feel like giving them a wrench and telling them to be at least productive... hahaha.
And if you're willing to wear a metal 4kg light fixture  as a hat, incorporating weight training into your daily life becomes as easy as 1-2-3.  Mind you, I don't recommend having to carry all 100+ of these light fixtures out on your own.  This isn't my idea of "natural training", I much rather be punched.
And if you're now flat broke because of overly expensive silly doors and exhausted from hauling 100+ 4kg light fixtures, don't worry.  A visit from a fun friend with coffee and extra fierceness will surely rejuvenate you.
One of the many "stray people" who wondered my way today was a chicken delivery guy booting it around on his scooter.  When he visited me the second time today, he gave me boxes of toothpicks and Q-tips.  "Your chicken better not be fried!", I yelled out to him... hahaha.
You'd be surprised how many people we've apparently attracted to our boxing club by simply working away at it.  I've even had people walk by and take pictures of me, now that's strange!   Today someone came purposely looking for me though -- Panty Boy Jr!!!
Getting a visit from my much-adored former team mate was awesome.  We're hoping he'll work part time for us because adding another champ to our roster (former Korean Welter Weight Champion) would be awesome not to mention we could definitely use his expertise.

And, at the end of an already way too long day, if an overdose of coffee, a recharging of fabulocity, some random freebies and a thumbs up from a fellow pro boxer doesn't pick you up, you can always pay it forward -- happy is the giver, right?!
This is how I ended my work day, yelling at the workers and insisting they give.
