As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Legal Business IS Our Business... Tuesday, April 23

A couple of hours before noon hit Cheonan, a man walked into our boxing club with his hand behind his back and a stern look on his face. Snickers instantly recognized him from the registery office and when the man draw his hand from behind his back and showed that he had a piece of paper in it, Snickers instantly knew why he had come. He had come to shake our hands and welcome us as Cheonan’s newest business owners. We were estatic, totally and completely estatic. And with grins I swear stretched from ear to ear, we picked up the pace with our renovations and added a bounce to our step.

Shortly after we got the great news, we called up my father in Canada. I knew he’d be thrilled and would want to share in our awesome news. K-Gere (Snickers father) has been working with us every day so he was quick to hear about our wicked news. He congratulated Snickers with a hand shake and I got a punch in the shoulder… hahaha.
