As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Snickers is much braver than me, swinging around up high there on that ladder like a monkey.
It definitely wasn't monkey business though we got down to tonight.  Tonight we had a mission and we had agreed that we wouldn't leave until it was done.
Unlike Snickers who ended up stripping down after getting dosed in concrete sand and water, I wore my overly dirty clothes proudly.  I even dropped by Kimbab Nala for tuna kimbab with muddy water slattered all on my clothes and face.
It's still super chilly at the club but we definitely worked up quite the sweat -- quite the dirty sweat!!!
Originally our mission was to drill in the holders for all ten sandbags, get them hanged and then figure out the flooring.  We got all BUT hanging the sandbags and that was only because we ran out of rope.
Mission completed at exactly 1:49am.
