As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

This is my former work look -- stelletto shoes, a tight pencil skirt, a pretty silk blouse, and my hair down.  I was always sure to wear my wedding ring, sport some earrings and have my nails painted.
Now it's a fluke if you see my hair down, earrings in my ear and my wedding ring on finger.  The other day I had my hair down but only because I was going to get my picture done for my F2 visa renewal application.
This is now my date look... it's pretty sad, I admit.
It's basically my now work look except for the fact that I've let my hair down and added lip gloss.
I can't remember the last time I wore a skirt now.  I wore a dress for the Glam Girls Night Out with Flipside Fitness and I remember how odd that felt.  Have I really ventured that far away from what I used to consider "pretty"?!
Today Snickers surprised me with a day date -- two tickets to see Ironman 3 in 3D.
Note that we had coffee and our lunch with us.  Us being away from doing club renovations for two hours was big so it meant us trying to mulit-task the best we could.  Thankfully catching a movie at 11am means there were only us and another couple watching so we were able to eat our lunch and take a couple of important business calls.
