After nine years of being in Korea, I finally add my own couple love lock to the notorious fence at N Tower in Seoul and I got my cousin and her hubby to add one too.
There were locks upon locks and it got me thinking, how many of these couples are still together?
After locking our locks up, we then walked down the mountain and threw our keys away. As the story goes, if you want to break up your couple, you have to go find your key first -- Snickers made sure it'd be impossible for me to do so when he threw our key off the side of the mountain.
Next it was off to Insadong, one of my favorite shopping places where the street food alone makes it worth the visit. My cousin's hubby liked it because of all the tea, Snickers liked it for the ice cream, and my cousin Ashley and I liked it for the sheer enjoyment of being with each other.
And what's a visit to Korea in the summer without indulging in some ppapingsu?! Exactly!!!
After a lot more hugs and silliness, it was time for my cousin and her man to leave Korea.
Saying goodbye to my only one family member to ever visit me was rather hard so I needed a pick-me-upper and what better way to get one than via a good workout so that's exactly what I did. I headed into Hulk's after midnight and geared up for an intense workout.
