As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sparring session one of two tonight was between Snickers and one of my favourite members so I joked and said I didn't know who to cheer for.
The two of them went for a couple of rounds of hard hitting and excessive body shots... ouch!!!

The WOW President stepped in and had a go at my husband.  I didn't know whether to give him props for being so brave or frown at him for wanting to hit my husband.
And then, much later in the evening, this massive barrel got delivered.  Inside of it, over $400 worth of two types of clams and shrimp.
It was a spur of the moment seafood party, a mix between celebrating the success of Hulk's, the great success of King Kong's monthly training results and a splash of birthday cheer for Cheetoh Girl.

It was a last minute Hulk's Boxing rooftop BBQ with a mixture of this and that but it all added up to good times.
