As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I start my work day off with these two -- Snickers and Wow Motors President's son -- and then in between starting and ending my day with Snickers, it is filled with so many awesome people.
There is, of course, my fierce boxercise babes that love to hate and hate to love the weight training circuit I put them through after a full action-packed boxercise class.
But they always come back for more so you know they love it!
Then there are our overly faithful, ultra dedicated members that come everyday and do everything and anything we tell them to do.  It's awesome to train them because they REALLY do want to change.  Nothing is more frustrating that trying to help someone that doesn't want your help or doesn't want to change.
We've got a really good balance of guys and gals who are doing boxing so it's pretty cool to see we're really helping to up the interest in boxing and especially among the women!!!  Our Crossfit Circuit Training classes are attending by some super fierce women too so that's awesome.
