As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Woke up to all 3 four-legged beauties curled up around and on me.
We were going to bring them on our country drive but decided to let them stay behind at the club so that they could run around.  Plus, Pacquiao gets a bit too over confident with the van window so we didn't want to risk him jumping out.
I love it how not even a ten minute car ride away from downtown Cheonan and BANG, you're totally in the middle of no where with nothing but rice fields and long roads ahead of you.
It's amazing how pretty Korea really is.  Definitely much prettier than I originally expected it to be and also much prettier than it was in previous years.  It took me a long time to get to where I am -- where I am loving my life -- and now I see everything differently.
