As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Perfect Moment... Saturday, July 27

"What was your favourite moment today?" Snickers asked me as we curled up together in the tent.

My favourite moment was sipping on coffee after swimming in the ocean with our friends.  We had done a couple of laps in the ocean, played frisbee and did silly handstands but then headed back to shore after being overly waterlogged and it getting a bit chilly.  We headed back to our tent to chit chat so I heated up some water and made everyone coffee.  Snickers laid some of our tent's floor padding down on the ground and together we all sat beside each other, sipping on coffee and eating one muffin each.

It was a perfect moment.

There we were, with our hands all toasting from holding the fresh coffee, the ocean right in front of us and the company of each other keeping the smiles on our faces.

It was my favourite of favourite moments.

At that particular moment I had forgotten all about the broken promises and changed plans other members had fed me because I was actually happy no one but us had come.   Later on us gals walked on the beach and had some pretty personal conversations about things so I was quite flattered to be close with them enough for them to share their personal thoughts with me.  Perhaps it wouldn't have been as such of an intimate event as it turned out to be.

As for the rest of what down at our camping trip, well I guess if you had gone you would know ;)
