As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Eat Clean or Don't Bother Training Hard

Training hard should ALWAYS be accompanied by clean eating.
Exercise is only 10% responsible for the way your body looks, feels and works, genetics are another 10% but eating is 80%.  But don't take my word for it, the scale and measurements don't lie... and by numbers I mean body fat and muscle mass percentages.

Our chicken salad may look somewhat ghetto, being served in a cooking pot, but with it's grade A goodness, protein overload and veggie delight, this chicken salad has some specially made salad dressing that a five star restaurant personally made AND delivered to our club so it's ghetto fabulous!!!

Eating 4 of my 6 meals everyday at the club means members always see what I eat but there's no pressure to eat clean.  I already do that as best I can.  I teased them tonight about wanting to eat a burger.  This is my "burger" -- a small candy jelly the guy at the convince store down the street sometimes sneaks me;)
