But I didn't let that go on for long before I kicked Snickers off the couch, told him to get dressed and insisted he take me out on a date. Today we headed out to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary.
It was just Snickers and me... and a beautiful scenic view for us to enjoy.
I ordered my beloved cappuccino and Snickers got a milk-ice treat.
No sooner were we about to leave but suddenly this was brought to our table. Someone at the cafe had recognized who Snickers and I were and wanted to treat us. I was flattered though found it rather amusing that someone who knew us as professional boxers would send over such a hard kill to our training and clean eating but, none the less, it's always the thought that counts.
And then, when we tried a second attempt to leave, someone started yelling out my name. Who should it be but one of my best friends in Korea -- Buff Boy -- who has been MIA for some time now (aka, he got married and had a kid so our cool cat life as we knew it of training together and hanging out had to stop).
A drive in the countryside after our cafe stop soon turned into a house-hunting party with us stumbling across this gorgeous house that had a patio to die for.
