Headed into Seoul for this particular female pro fight.
Korea's very own Hong Su Yeon against Japan's Mari Ando -- both incredibly talented women.

There seemed to be a lot of head butting but Mari's hard hits were definitely up to par with Su Yeon's fast punches and I was really impressed and happy to note there was absolutely NO hate being thrown by the crowd to Japan's corner, that was really awesome.
It was definitely a great fight but we all thought it was Mari's win... Su Yeon got it.
Welcome to Korean boxing.
(side note: Am I the only one that's noted just how many international fighters Korea has invited to come fight in Korea?! Six of out Su Yeon's 9 opponents have been foreigners and all but one were fought here in Korea.
Either there's a lack of fighters here or fight cards are being stacked in Korea's favor... things that make you go "hmmm")
Got a chance to meet and chat with Mari Ando after her fight. Not a scratch on this cute Japanese gals face which definitely can't be said true about her opponent, ouch.

Met up with the round girls too -- super buff but a bit distracting for all considering... hahaha. Props to them though, fittest round girls I've ever seen in Korea. Korea usually throws some skinny, chopstick-leg girls in to do the job and I always wonder how they can even hold up the round cards.
Also took some pictures with some fans. This particular fan was the cutest of them all -- he introduced himself to me this past Thursday at the Incheon fights and today we snapped another pic together.
I liked the round girls even more when they threw me a free fight promo t-shirt. And thanks to a fan who gave me a small case of soju. I don't drink but loved your sweet gesture!!!
Another fight of interest involved another Japanese fighter but he was a "fusion baby" as I call them -- looked half Asian, half American. He fought one of Snickers' sparring partners so that was both exciting and frustrating because Snickers creamed him at sparring. It should be Snickers up there!
Spotted Hyun Mi (the North Defector) in the crowd and called her over; super nice gal. We giggled about her sporting her sun glasses -- still sporting a black eye from Thursday's fight.

Definitely didn't expect the last fight of the tournament to be the show stopper for me but it was, correction, the man filling in as the temporary corner coach was the show stopper.
