As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

To be Happy, You have to be Grateful

So TRUE!! Surround yourself with POSITIVE people!so very true.

Surround yourself with positive people.Surround yourself with positivitySurround yourself with positive people :)
And I am... I am grateful.
My biggest discouragement comes not in people saying rude or means things me, those kind of people are present sure but in small numbers, instead my main discouragement comes not in what people say or do but in what they don't say and don't do.  It's in trying to help others that really don't care or have come to expect my help.
I am grateful for the overflow of new members I now have to calculate weight and body fat goals for.  And I'm grateful for being able to put together a snack to get me through all the calculations -- homemade tortillas with homemade peanut butter and a banana. And I'm grateful for a Tuperware full of fresh broccoli with a side treat -- ceasar salad sauce for light dipping.
I'm grateful for being able to finally bring much needed, much deserved relief to both my beautiful Pyen Chi and beautiful Snickers (via the air conditioning that got installed today).
