As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Love from Canada Spontaniously Arrives

I was sooooo excited today when I looked over and there on our juice bar counter was this box addressed to us, from one of my former boxercise babes, Cutie Patootie.
It was an unexpected gift and my eyes lit up when we openeded it.
Cadbury eggs?!  What???  I kept them in the box, saving them for a special day and hoping they'll hatch and make additional Cadbury eggs while we hold off.
There was also a newspaper clipping from the production Cutie Patootie was in, very cool.
But this warmed my heart -- a handwritten letter addressed to Snickers and I and our four-legged family.  No one seems to write handwritten letters anymore so this was the best.
Matching t-shirts from Cutie Patootie's production of Shrek accompanied the already busting with awesomeness package.  I'm so spoiled!!!
