As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunshine in My Life

Apparently what's NOT normal in an average day IS normal in mine.
Still freaks me out a bit when I see hospital patients leaving the grounds and walking around town.  In the case of tonight, it was Mouse Doctor I spotted walking around.  He had left temporarily so that he could go home and feed his four-legged friends and check up on the pups.
A coffee shop in the house?!  But of course.
Tonight, after we returned from Dankook lake, we continued our date right at home, right in our Cafe Mi Gung and it was quite sweet.
Living with my best friend, my three favourite sidekicks and having a coffee shop in my house, is it any wonder why I don't get out much?!  I mean, I don't need to.  I've got everything right here.
I've started back on this book I was 'working' on a while back.  A friend in Canada gave me and it's a book of lists so you know me and my lists... love lists!!!  This particular book of lists is a list of things to do before you're "old and boring".  I've done a whack of them already but now I'm going back to redo many of them for record's sake.
