As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Beautiful, Thankful Thanksgiving

While Snickers waited at Hulk's to gather our guests, one of my friends and I worked on the table decorations and fine tuning the dinning table.  Taking selfies in the bathroom was how we worked on not dipping into the desert table being set up.
Viola, our massively long beautiful dinning table, all set up for our great guests.
And here they are in all their glory, 20 of Cheonan's finest.
And what's a Thanksgiving meal without a turkey?!  Exactly.  For almost all of my Korean guests, it was their first time even tasting turkey.
Finally after all his a-m-a-z-i-n-g help, my man got to sit down and enjoy his first ever Thanksgiving dinner and he loved it... definitely got "food coma" because of the turkey.
Last but definitely not least, our desert table -- pumpkin pie, pecan pie, three different kinds of ice cream, a large plate of fruit, brownies, sugar wafers, and iced coffee.
