As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Anticipating Tomorrow

Tomorrow marks a very special day for me.... it's my 6th year anniversary since I went pro.

The video I made of me going for pro status.  I knew that this day would change many things for me but I didn't know it'd change everything.  This was the first day of life for me, or so it felt like, and I always thought it'd be him and me... Junior Mint and me.
Now it's just me... me building my own team and working with a new coach.
I miss Junior Mint.
Tomorrow is a very special day for me and I'll be spending it with the man that made it all possible for me, well he'll be where I'll be, and I don't expect him to aknowledge the day like we've done the five previous years.  Tomorrow I'll celebrate it with my new coach, Snickers, but it won't be the same.
