As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Similarities in Our Day Apart

Despite Snickers and I being on opposite sides of Korea today, parts of our day were very similar.
He started his day out with a bunch of guys and intense sports.
I started my day off with a bunch of guys and intense sports too but the guys in my morning were the dudes in the park cheering me on during my intense run.  Ran with a 3kg weighted vest on under my Adidas training jacket, hence why my face is red here!
[Note, I don't recommend taking a pic while running. I find it SUPER annoying when people do this because it is distracting and they should be focused on training hard.  However, after a billion and one text messages from Snickers, asking me what I was doing, snapping a pic was the easiest way to tell him I'm too busy running to answer him.]
And while Snickers played with his boys, I played with mine.
I must note though, today I didn't have many male members to train.  Today the club had a steady stream of women coming to train -- yaah to us fierce females!!!
Snickers ended his day with some chillax time with his buddies.
I did the same though I must argue my buddies are way cuter than his!
