As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fierce Females Take Over Hulk's

I'm rather over what others think of me, have been for a long time, and I care no more than to mock any silly comment that comes my way, like a homepage commenter who insisted I looked like a 12 Chinese boy because you know I live in KOREA.  Intelligence would be calling me a 12 year old Korean boy.
Strong IS beautiful and REAL women don't play the victim card.  They dust themselves off, get up and become stronger.
Speaking of strong, my Poster Girl Child is becoming super strong -- mind, body and soul.
And what once used to be a shy, young girl, battling her own insecurities, is now a fierce female whose turning into quite the confident young lady before my eyes.
She's super cool and now I can see she's beginning to think so too.  Love this little lady!

Well, do you mind that you don't look feminine? Because that haircut really makes you look more masculine... Short hair like that only works for certain people. But this is your head and your hair, so in the end it doesn't really matter what people think. If you don't care that other people think you look masculine, then it doesn't matter -- just enjoy the hair and ignore them. And you do look very Asian in that picture. This is neither good nor bad. Just an observation!

L--o-v-e your hair cut. If any one can pull of this, it is you Amy. And who would want to mess with ya anyway.
