As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Positive-People Packed Day

One of my admirable friends that I'm really trying to see more of is this little lady.  In addition to being full time smarty-pants English professor and around-the-clock super hip mom and gorgeous wife, she's also my kicka$$ running partner.    And after yesterday's gruelling mountain run, I definitely needed her to help kick my butt through today's 8km.
I'm happy to note that these days I start my work day off with a club loaded with fierce females.  Us fierce females clearly outnumbered the hulktastic hunks today and of course I was ultra proud about that.
That's not to say I don't like it when the club is packed with dudes though.
Our days start off with loads of females and end with an extra dose of men at Hulk's.
I ended my day like most, surrounded by some of the key people in my life.
Here I am, sitting with WOW President, Kato, Pyen Chi, Snickers, and Mouse Doctor.
After work we had a meeting with WOW so he treated us to dinner out.  It was the third time I had seen him today, proving just how big of a role he plays in not only our lives but the life of Hulk's.
The first time I saw him today was when he dropped by the club to talk... and to show off his new fluorescent shoes.  Those bad boy were super bright; they were "wow-bright"... hahaha.
Our days are always packed with super awesome people, whether that be our sponsor, friends or Hulkies, so an afternoon nap is sometimes what the doctor orders.  Here we are, sneaking in a nap before the next wave of Hulkies comes for training.
