As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Impossible is I'm Possible

I ran and ran... I ran until I ran off the calories from my Indian restaurant dinner out and then I ran more.
I've never been one for counting calories but I'm always curious as to just how many my training burns.  It took me about 12.5kms to run off that last carb-loading meal proving that as good as that meal tasted, it sure as hell wasn't worth the 12.5km it took me to wear it off!!!

I anticipated a 15km after all that's all my long run was scheduled for.  I ran 20km.
Running around Dankook lake got boring so I headed down a random street -- only gas stations and love motels.  Ventured down another street but had to turn back after the street ran out of street lights.
I'm right on par with my training schedule.  Made up for being one day late with my long run with making it an extra long run and I started my 1000 push-up challenge with the aim to be get 38 done a day.
