As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Needing to Up My Food Intake

In attempts to get in more veggies, I've been leaning on this particular green smoothie to accompany the eggs I eat for my midday snack.  It's so super thick with spinach but with the added fruit it's so super delish.
For lunch -- meal 3 of 6 -- I ate a multi-grain chicken sandwich that was busting at the seems with spinach.  The five grain mustard inside is a for sure must have.  It's ultra yummy!!!

According to my phone app I've been using, I was right on par with my daily macro nutrients... BUT...
... at closer inspection, you'll notice that I'm not exactly eating enough calories.
Today I only at about 84% of the amount of calories I need and this calorie count (1527 calories) isn't the number I need to maintain my current weight but instead is a number that's already been adjusted according to my fat loss focus.
[Note, today was my day off training so my calorie count was adjusted accordingly.]
