As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Price of Beauty

While out shopping at a cosmetic store, I came across some interesting finds on what Korean girls do to beautify themselves.  And here I thought it was genetics that gave me my small Polish nose.
Has Snickers been using this on my nose while I sleep?!
And to think, all this time I thought hard training and clean eating was going to give me the body I wanted.  Now I know it's just these tight bands I have to wrap around my body.  NOW you tell me.
Thank you mom and dad but the secret is out.  My double eyelid was all a secret.  Not too sure on where you hid the double eyelid tape or if I'm even still wearing it.... boy are you good!!!
And I never did turn out to look like the Japanese doll on the hair color I used today.
Ironically enough, it was my eyes that stayed brown and my hair that turned blue.
