As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Morning of Disappointment fueled Tonight's Mean Training

While two of the boys cuddled...
... us girls side-snuggled... and Pacquiao jumped in and out of the pictures.
And while many of my friends headed out, to enjoy their Saturday night, I headed to the club to eat some humble pie and work of some frustrations regarding KBC.  I wasn't the only one disappointed with today's boxing tournament so several of us took to the sandbags to punch out our frustrations.
Our hard training was then rewarded with a dinner out and this super popular restaurant that's always packed.  It's tucked away, down a side street by our club, but don't let that fool you.  Average waiting time is about 15-30 minutes.... and yes, it is soooooo worth it!
Am still frustrated over what went down today but it was pure fuel for my training and the added meal after training was super.
