As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fueling up on Great Food and Great Company for a Great Day

Today I had my breakfast club meeting to attend so I made some cinnamon French toast.
I made it look all fancy with some strawberries and bananas.
Check out what everyone else brought... woozers!!!
Great food and great company, sounds like a pretty cool start to a great Sunday.
If the food didn't already look super delish, I should note here that a good 90% of the population don't have ovens.  Residents in Korea have mastered their skills with small toaster style ovens, very impressive.
The breakfast club meeting was held in Sambu, a tall high rise apartment building that I used to live in.
It overlooks downtown Cheonan.
Today, after our meeting, I "painted Sambu green" and by that I mean I posted flyers on approimently 330 apartment doors.  It was definitely an odd feeling, posting a flyer on my old apartment door but it was good,.  It was so refreshing, so liberating, to know that I am definitely not the same girl who used to live here.
