As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Random Club Shots

Cheering on Team Monkey as they do my "Strong Kids Competition", a relay race that included rolling/dragging a sandbag the length of the club, hitting the ceiling beam with a medicine ball, and carrying a kettle bell back to their team's starting line.
The two guys at the blue sandbag, one whaling away at it with no hand wraps on or gloves and the other watching, ya they totally don't know what they're doing but that's why we love them.  Ya to my K-Crew visiting and trying to be tough.
Some of our female Hulkies and I discussing the female boxing bout (Saturday's fights) that were on TV.
They agreed with me, the matching of opponents was nonsense.
Two late night members, clocking in at 11:30pm.  It was late but hey, if they're willing to put in the effort then so will I and time then becomes irrelevant.
