A Stroll Around Dankook

Headed out to Dankook University today with Snickers, for a lovely day date.

Usually it's me running around the lake here with him encouraging me on and watching me as I go lap for lap.

Today there was no running around the lake for me, it was just him and I enjoying it and each other.

I remember back in the day when they first built up the surrounding park and path around the lake.

Many years later now, it's one of my favourite places in Cheonan and is quite the popular spot for many.

We ended up doing a bit of fishing too with this random older Korean man.  He relied on my hawk eyes to spot the fish in the water and then him and Snickers would throw his line in, hoping to catch a fish.

Ok, so perhaps I didn't go running around the lake today but we did do a bit of exercising.

Dankook has a few of these exercise spots located around its' lake, spots where you can do weight training.

Leave it to Snickers to act like the exercise machine is a bucking bronco and make quite the scene.

I think him carrying around my purse drew enough attention, but then again this is Korea.  

Most Korean guys carry their lady's purse.

Working out in heels, nice... keeping it classy.

And as for my wide-mouth, disappearing eyes look, it's because Snickers sat on me and refused to get up until I did a few shoulder presses with him on my lap -- he's some 80+ kilos.

Snickers found a four-leaf clover, the first ever I've ever seen, and it was all too fitting that he found it.

I don't believe in luck but sometimes I think luck is only thing that can even begin to justify why I have the love and the life I now have.

And of course, what would a day in the life of me be without a visit to Hulk's?!  Exactly.

Stopped by Hulk's today to do some laundry and stock the juice bar.
