As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Terrific Thursday of Gift-Giving

Snickers chillaxing, enjoying the calm before the storm... the flood of Hulkies that is.
Two things you can never have too much of -- mango and peanut butter.  I vouch that spinach is equally important but I love my mango and there's nothing a spoonful of peanut butter can't make better.
Today I was surprised with a gift of frozen mango so I kept the gift-giving going by giving out small jars of our club-made peanut butter.
Speaking of gift-giving, a friend dropped by a cheese cake and our Hulkies completely distroyed it in a matter of single digit minutes.
... and then I made them hulk smash their workout, as a means of trying to make up for killing the cake.

I think it's been 8 years since I last saw this girl -- my friend Ju Won from Hongik Fitness.
We used to weight train at Hongik Fitness and then she saw my picture on a random flyer of ours so she came to check out Hulk's.  So very cool to run into her again and to have her training at Hulk's.
Speaking of cool... the two super cute mini-Hulkie sisters are so very cool.
Late in the evening we got another gift -- some eye-candy.  I won't mention the accidental strip-down I turned and caught, that wasn't the eye-candy.

My good friend Stark is always a hit with my lady friends... and guy friends too for that matter.
He recently started up his own business so he's super busy with that but it's super sweet of him to stop by once in awhile to train with us and just hang out.
