As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the Love of Balls

Snickers laughed at me today because I was so excited I had finally collected 5 of these coupons.
You get one coupon with every carton of eggs you buy and you need 5 to get $1 off... 1 carton = 60 eggs.
It took me 5 weeks to eat 300 eggs... by myself.
Today it was the "Day of the Balls"... hahaha.
I made a little protein-packed post-training snack balls for some Hulkies and then today I was surprised with a special delievery of Crystal Taro Cake balls.
Love the ball... respect the ball!!!
Thank you to one of my friends from Beat Boxing for bringing me back these from his trip to Taiwan.
And speaking of balls, this little fur-ball of a friend returned to Hulk's today... Belfort.
It's been a little over a month since we've seen her but today there she appeared, peeking into our club and looking for me.  I love this little lady, even if she has matted fur and smells like questionable meat.
