As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Food-Filled, Action-Packed Day

Today I cooked up a storm, preparing multiple meals for the week.
And because I did all my food prep work on our juice bar, it grew quite the crowd.
Many Hulkies coming to train while I was cooking stopped to watch and question me about my food.
Curiosity turned into questions which turned into a mini demo and food taste testing.
And viola, my meals:  4 veggie-packed quiches (with oatmeal bases), 6 spicy hot chicken stir frys with brown rice, and one veggie-only stir fry.
But veggie quiches and chicken stir frys aren't exactly the only meals I'll be eating this week.  I'll only eat about half of them because I still have several chicken curry and chicken whole wheat pasta dishes.
Random shot taken as I cleaned up my cooking stuff -- Snickers somehow maintaining a serious conversation with a female Hulkie who's sporting both the Hulk mask and Hulk hand.
Tonight it was with such pride we watched two of our long time Hulkies step into the ring for sparring.
I've been working on matching up members with potential sparring partners according to their weight, experience, etc, and tonight's sparring match was my setup.  It was their first time ever sparring.
After our two first timers sparred, one stayed in the ring to spar with another member.
Two words: BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!!!
We were so proud to see just how well they all did, and they loved it!
In the morning we worked on one of our scooters (Frankenstein-G), hoping to get it back on the road today.
Mission a success.
Ended the work day with a late night, after hours date.  Took Franky-G for a ride around town and almost forgot how fun it was to cruise around on him.
Headed over to a coffee shop overlooking Dankook lake.  It was about 1am but the lake was buzzing with other late night daters and numerous sports enthusiasts playing sports around the lake.
