As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Super Relaxing to Search-Mode in Overdrive

Woke up super late, anticipating an overly lazy day and that's exactly how it started.
But then it wasn't lazy.
A phone call from our former landlord, asking for some random key, sent us on a mad rampage search.
Eight boxes of packed stuff now properly put away, five large garbage bags of trash now out on the street, a and four hours later, we finally found the key.  We also found some incense from our honeymoon in Bali that I didn't think we had kept.  Lit some up and wow, what a much-deserved relaxing way to end that crazy search!
And then it was back to relaxing, though I must note my husband in ultra cute boxers is quite distracting and not very relaxing to look at if you know what I mean.
