As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sleeping Beauties Wake up to Hulk Out

It's Thursday and the wear and tear of the week of hard training is showing itself.
Members who train everyday showed up today needing some extra energy.
... and some extra sleep too.
My solution:  a round of extra strong coffee for everyone!!!  Laugh as you may but it seemed to do the trick.  Note the sleeping beauties in the above pictures and the butt-kicking sparring boxers in the next picture.
A little coffee, a 20 minute nap and some encouragement and viola -- it's back to training hard!!!
Am convinced the energy and hype over last night's two first timers stepping into the ring lingered well into today because today another four first timers stepped into the ring to spar today, awesome!!!
Now while the high school boys are left to sleep on our sandbags and no one bothers
Kato while he sleeps on our front couch, this is what happens when I fall asleep and all see.
I become one big jungle gym for our mini Hulkies to climb all over.
...and then they insist I swing on the ropes with them... hahaha.
