As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the Love of Work

Honestly, my day didn't start until about 6pm but that's only because I went to bed around 8am.
But once my day started, it was work, work, and more work.
Tonight we worked on the sandbags, a task I would just like to say thank goodness for a strong back!!!  Here is Snickers trying to hook up one of our new sandbags with me holding it up by my bag.
Don't try this at home kids.
Another thing not to try at home is breaking a glass wall.
Notice the fact Snickers is half naked, wearing only Mauy Tai boxing shorts, definitely don't recommend that.
Snickers thought I was strange because I took so many pictures of the broken glass and stood there listening to it.  It looked like chunks of diamonds and sounded like rain.
And viola, our former glove room is now a room for both gloves and treadmills to unite.
We still have to get that one treadmill serviced but I have a feeling it will result in us tinkering with it and looking things up on Google to fix it.
