As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Laundry and Dishes, I Hate, but Chicken and Hulkies I Love

Dropped a few hundred on another hundred towels, hopefully this means I don't have to do club laundry every single night.
The plan is to do it every OTHER night now.
Our boxing ring, a multi-functional item that keeps our members training hard and our laundry drying nicely.
I added this to our juice bar counter today, along with a sign on the water tower telling members to please use the mug cups.  The deal with this is they put their cup in their selected "square" and then, when they're done training, they follow the arrow and leave their cup there.  The idea behind this is to discourage members from using a billion zillion cups during their training so to cut down on me having to repeatively do dishes.
Still end up getting a whack of dishes though and notice how they didn't follow the arrow and/or the instructions?!  Give them some time, they'll figure it out.
Celebrated this ultra, super duper busy Monday with a chicken party because there's no better post-training party than that of a chicken party with some buff Hulkies and delish chicken!!!
