As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Maxing Out our Christmas Eve Potential

Headed out for a special Christmas Eve dinner with Snickers.
And with a table full of side dishes and two waitresses waiting on us hand and foot, it was a feast fit for a king!
After dinner, we headed over to Mama Kim's house, to sleep off our food coma before church.  However, when we arrived we were greeted by the youngest of the Kim family -- the double-trouble 2 year olds.
We call this little one the Bulldog because we both think she's like a bulldog, ugly cute.  Here she is taking a selfie with my camera.

We intended on going to church and we did go... but then we left.
Headed out to one of our favourite coffee shops.  I know what Snickers wants next Christmas, this wood burning heater.  Man did that heater crank out mad heat!
And while Snickers was preoccupied with the wood burning heater, I found amusement elsewhere.
That awkward moment when someone gives you a rather unexpected present... yup, that's what happened at the table behind Snickers.  The guy had given her a Christmas present, a matching bra and panties, and her reaction to it was priceless.  I didn't get a good glimpse of the gift but we all saw the girl go about a zillion shades of red as the guy kept on insisting she look at it again.
Coffee was followed by me unexpectedly baking up a storm back at Hulk's after I mentioned at the coffee shop that no one knows how to make decent brownies anymore.
I made brownies tonight and let me tell you, they were gone in one shot.
I don't make brownies because I know how to make a mean batch of them so I have absolutely no control over what my fingers do when that batch comes out of the oven!
Treated ourselves to use of the members-only heater tonight.
And before we tuned into a Christmas movie, we watched reruns of my friend's boxing bout we just recently attended.  Did you honestly think that just because it was Christmas Eve that we wouldn't have boxing somehow weaved into our day?! Hahaha.
Checked out a Christmas oldie but goodie on VOD.  Can you guess which movie?
Here's a hint -- "You'll shoot your eye out"... bwahahaha.
