As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Me Staying Busy and Them Staying Warm

It's cold in the club during our off hours.  The large red heaters stay off and the only heaters on are that of our electric blanket and the coal heater so you have to find other ways to stay warm.
This is how Balboa stays warm, by becoming more or less like an accessory to our layered clothing.
Snickers treated himself to a few minutes of solid sweet heat via our heaters, hence the no pants.
Those heaters are big and they blast big heat.
Pacquiao is good for not being bothered by the cold temperatures but he hung out with us by the coal heater.
And as for Pyen Chi, well, her massive overload of fur on her back means she is absolutely loving the chill of the club.  Here is her not trying to stay warm but instead staying beautiful thanks to Snickers cleaning out her ears, clipping her nails and combing her beautiful fur coat.
