As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Late Starting Day Date

Headed out to one of my favourite spots in Seoul for some people-watching, simple fun.
Insadong is a great place for shopping but I like window shopping there.
I save my shopping for the local street food treats.
One of the great things about Korea is all its random small side streets, like this one that was only one person wide.  Took one too many turns in the small backstreet alleys and ended up at a new fun street food vendor.  They sell 똥빵 here, which translates to "poo bread".
Nothing like biting into a piece of bread shaped like a fresh poo dropping to really warm you up.
I liked the poo bread but much rather warm up with some PDA with Snickers.
The last time we passed by this shop, Tasty1, it was when we brought my newly wed cousin and her husband here when they touched down in Korea for a few hours.  We took them to N Tower to hang a couple lock we had bought for them but tonight we found another place they'd love -- you hang your couple love letter here on this wall.
Our date ended with some delish dinning out.
I'm pretty sure I ate my weight in meat... and I'm pretty sure I didn't regret it either.
