As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Special Christmas Treats and Ghetto Christmas Eats

Presentation is key, it helps build up the excitement... or so they say.
This is how I presented my presents to Snickers today, with a massive board and love letter.
This was our Christmas dinner, pizza.
We go all out on Christmas Eve but pizza on Christmas day is kind of becoming like a tradition for us because we rarely eat it and it's super cheap.  Pizza on Christmas day is always accompanied with doing absolutely nothing but relaxing.
Snickers treated me to a full foot massage -- a 20 minute royal pampering that included scrubbing my feet, soaking them and then massaging lotion on them.
And nothing says Christmas is over like taking down decorations and getting back to work with working on a much needed renovation.  We waited till midnight and then got to work.  Tonight's renovation was on redirecting the smoke from the coal heater to the other end of the club and today's now-naked club will be decorated with my New Year's idea...which I haven't really decided upon just yet.
