As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Warm Heart Fuzzies Keeping Me Warm

I swear my man-friend here and I have telepathy going on sometimes!!!
I had just texted a friend, telling them that I needed a coffee like I needed a kick in the butt because I was feeling kind of lazy and needed a pick-me-upper.  No sooner did I text my friend but then this friend came walking in with a cappuccino for me.
And THIS is why he was one of two people invited to my wedding.  Guy Smiley is awesome.
We kicked off the start of our Advant calander today and I thought who better to start it than this little cutie.  She's a relatively new Hulkie but with her extra sweet manners and her dedication to my crossfit classes, she's been a great addition to our Hulk crew.
We ended the evening with a Monday night celebration, a little tradition we just recently decided to start.  It had been a slow Monday because of the sudden drop in outside temperatures but none the less we celebrated today's Monday with some Hulkies.  Even our four-legged friends were invited to this week's celebration.  I snapped some shots of their excitement about the special invite.
