As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Day of K-Bere Family Fun... and Work

Today was definitely a feel-good family kind of day and it started off with a miracle -- Snickers let me cook him breakfast.  He ate it up and he liked it.  Those who know Snickers know that he never eats my food.  He always says I make the strangest of concoctions, like mixing chicken with my oatmeal, and he's right but as strange as they are they taste totally delish.
Note here though that whenever Snickers and I eat together, with the exception of meals out, we eat together but never the same thing.  The same held true for today's club-cooked breakfast.  Even our coffees were so different!
It was Balboa's third birthday so we tried to take a family picture.
This was the closet out of about a zillion pics we took... hahaha.
After a little birthday celebration, it was on to doing some things for our Indiegogo campaign.
This week our Hulk Smash jelly bracelets will be up for grabs at the club for those who donate and so tonight I made a donation/display box. Pac helped by trying to be my model for the shot... thanks Pac.
