As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Going Colourful and Creative with Club Signs

Having way too much fun with the Candy Camera photoshop app my mini Hulkies introduced me to.
I thought it only fitting to use them as models in a photoshopped notice regarding our Hulk Smash Price event that is ending this Friday.
This is the sign I made for our Hulk Smash jelly bracelets... now to wait for them to arrive.
Speaking of signs, I spend a good chunk of my time and energy making bilingual signs and notices for our club.  Every member knows of our Coach's Corner where I post my notices for them but not everyone actually reads them so the other day I set up a little test.
The typed notice reads "This is a test to see who reads our signs.  If you're reading this, tell Coach Amy to receive your thank you."  So far about 53 passed it and only two took note of it.
