As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Today my mission was to get all the items checked on my Date Box list so I had several stores to check out and a purse full of $1 bills.
Obviously I over estimated the size and amount of stuff my pocket full of $1 bills could get me because the box I had clearly wasn't big enough for all the Date Box goodies.
I'll give myself "extra cheese points" here, aka extra points for being extra sappy, because I made a special gift and wrote a long love letter in Korean.
I raked in the cheese points with the picture frame gift.  As you can see, on the paper inside the frame it reads "I love you because" but what you don't know is on the glass I wrote a reason using a dry erase marker and signed my name.  So I can change my reason whenever I want and can write them as cheese-filled or as silly as I want.
When Snickers returned later in the evening, I posted a picture of the Date Box I had made on Facebook and told him to go find it.  It was an easy find but it was an unexpected gift.
...and I don't know if he holding his head here is because he's got a headache from digesting the cheese factor of it all or can't believe a tough boxing chic like me can make a tough boxing babe like him complete mush.
